The serial number and model year are often useful in determining the correct part for your BOB stroller (include this when contacting us). Follow these two simple steps: 1. Locate your serial number: Standing at the handle bar, the serial number is located near the back right wheel on the inside of the square frame tubing of the stroller. It is important to provide the SN number, not the Model number, in order for us to answer your parts questions. Serial numbers for very old BOB Strollers are stamped into the frame, same location as newer strollers.
2. To determine your stroller model year cross reference your serial number with the ranges of numbers listed below. Model year strollers may have been made for a range of years. Example: 2007 Revolution was manufactured up to 2010. NOTE! Model year is dependent on the Serial Number, not the manufacture date. For instance, if your stroller was manufactured in late 2015, but your Serial Number starts with the letter "U" (U611850...) then your stroller is a 2016 for all intents and purposes.

A vehicle identification number (VIN) is a unique code assigned to every motor vehicle when it's manufactured. The VIN is a 17-character string of letters and numbers without intervening spaces or the letters Q (q), I (i), and O (o); these are omitted to avoid confusion with the numerals 0 and 1. Each section of the VIN provides a specific piece of information about the vehicle, including the year, country, and factory of manufacture; the make and model; and the serial number. VINs are usually printed in a single line.

Since 1981 Club Car Golf Carts have positioned their serial numbers just under the glove box on the passengers side of the vehicle. The serial number of each vehicle is printed on a bar code decal. The two letters at the beginning of the serial number "A" indicate the vehicle model. The following four digits "B" indicate the model year and production week during which the vehicle was built. The six digits "C" following the hyphen represent the unique sequential number assigned to each vehicle built within a given model year. (See chart below to find your model.)
On Club Car Golf Carts prior to 1981, you can find the serial number by raising the seat and locating the aluminium, I-beam frame section closest to the batteries on the driver's side of the car. If the serial number plate has been removed, you can confirm it is a 1975-1980 model if it has two brake pedals and one accelerator pedal.
